Mossy Mountain Railway
Karen and I have been involved in the Hobby of Garden railroading for the past 9 years. The Trains are approximately 2 1/2 times the size of the standard trains we had when we were kids ( o gauge ).
The layout is about a 75' x 75' in our back yard. It has 600' of track split into 4 loops. I have built about 45 buildings mostly from kits and there are 140 miniature trees that are trimmed to scale using bonsai tree techniques. Bonsai is also one of our hobbies.
Note the castle which is scratch built and has over 2500 1/2" by 1/2" hand laid/glued ceramic stones. The steel girder bridges are scale and of course have family graffiti on them. The mountain is 7' tall.
