The age old combination of stone and concrete has weathered centuries throughout the world. Natural stone & concrete models are constructed using the Vinyl Cement Patcher Technique – a Portland cement product and 19 gauge, 1/2" wire hardware cloth. The technique combines stone formed in a single cast with Casting Master Textured sheets (below). Using WD40 as mold release, Quikrete Vinyl Cement Patcher® and simple, reusable foam formwork, the casting master sheets (Precision Products), 15" x 15" x .025 styrene plastic sheets are reusable.
